As part of my Online Personal Training with Pre / Postnatal mummies, it has been a fun effective fitness challenge to introduce some kids Zumba for mummies and children to keep fit together. We are often wondering how to keep our kids smiling and fit, this is the perfect way..... An Introduction to Kids yoga will be offered also!
Generally all classes are broken down and will involve games to keep the the kids captivated.
This is a fantastic way to keep mummies and children active and have some fun.
In addition to being a fun and healthy exercise option for adults, there are many benefits of Zumba for kids. These include teaching children to lead active lives, combating childhood obesity, teaching body coordination, helping youngsters to develop healthy friendships with other kids, and encouraging kids to explore the world of dance and fitness. Zumba also allows parents and kids to share in the fun together.
Zumba is a fusion of Latin dance with aerobic exercise. Kids can enjoy the different motions that Zumba instructors lead them through and generally learn the routines fairly quickly. Kids usually love to dance and move their bodies in different ways, as they have a great deal of energy and like to express their personalities. Zumba for kids encourages children to incorporate exercise into their daily life and this promotes strong bodies and weight management.
Zumba for kids is a fun way for families to spend quality time together. Children learn to appreciate different types of music and culture through the dance moves that Zumba provides. By combining music with dance and exercise, children’s minds grow and they become aware of a bigger beautiful world for all.

Perfect for our younger Zumba fans! Kids 4-6 years old get the chance to have fun and jam out to their favorite music. The next age bracket up is 7-12 years.

Helps develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives. Classes incorporate key childhood development elements such as leadership, respect, team work, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, balance, cultural awareness.
